Center for Media Innovation and Impact (CMII)

The Center for Media Innovation and Impact (CMII) is dedicated to exploring the transformative power of media. We conduct research on how media influences human existence and societal change, and we execute innovative journalism projects that highlight important stories and issues. Our aim is to demonstrate how the media can be a powerful agent for positive change in communities and countries.

Our MediaLab is a dynamic learning environment where students can acquire a wide range of media skills. We offer classes in UI/UX design, video editing, social media management, animation, CGI, graphic design, web design and development, storytelling, and photography. By equipping students with these skills, we empower them to create compelling media content that can drive social change and foster community engagement.

Center for Global Immigration and Mobility (CGIM)

At the Center for Global Immigration and Mobility (CGIM), we are committed to facilitating and enhancing legal immigration pathways that address global skill gaps. Our mission is to implement and advocate for policies that enable skilled individuals to migrate legally and contribute to economies around the world. We focus on creating solutions that streamline the immigration process, ensuring that talent flows efficiently to where it’s needed most.

Our work at CGIM involves extensive research and collaboration with governments, non-governmental organizations, and private sector entities to develop and refine legislation that improves the chances of skilled workers finding legitimate employment opportunities globally. By influencing policy and offering targeted support, we aim to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, fostering economic growth and innovation worldwide.
Immigration Assistance Lab (IAL)
The Immigration Assistance Lab (IAL) is an integral part of our center, offering specialized consultation and writing services to individuals navigating the complex immigration process. We provide expert assistance with key immigration forms, including Form I-140, I-485, and I-693, as well as guidance on preparing strong applications for categories such as EB-1A (Extraordinary Ability), EB-1B (Outstanding Professors and Researchers), EB-1C (Multinational Executives and Managers), and EB2-NIW (National Interest Waiver).

Our team of experienced professionals is dedicated to helping clients present compelling cases that meet the stringent requirements of immigration authorities.     What the FT Lab Offers:
    • CodeForge Studio: A dedicated space for software development and programming, where participants can sharpen their coding skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, and C++. The CodeForge Studio emphasizes collaborative projects, agile development, and the creation of innovative apps and platforms.
    • CyberSentinel Hub: This hub focuses on the critical role of cybersecurity in the digital age. Through simulated cyberattacks and defense strategies, participants learn to safeguard digital infrastructures, conduct ethical hacking, and respond to cyber threats. The CyberSentinel Hub also provides advanced training on cryptography, network security, and data protection.
